They bring expertise in information technology, research, government relations, and patient engagement. Beth Anne is a scientist who specializes in oncology, CEO of The Nicholas Conor Institute, experienced board member, scientific advisory board member of the San Diego Blood Bank, a global rare disease organization, and the Stand-Up to Cancer Pediatric Cancers Team. Beth Anne is a longtime patient advocate working closely with Congress, Federal agencies and the White House on personalized medicine, cancer initiatives and health policy.
Tuan is a Silicon Valley executive who led technology and scientific teams to develop semantic technologies to advance life science research. Tuan joined Ingenuity Systems when it was a stealth startup and helped it become the Digital Biotech industry leader, resulting in the acquisition by QIAGEN, Inc. Tuan has leadership experience in product development, product management, content curation, services, and commercial operations.
Jonathan is an attorney in Washington, D.C. focusing his professional activities on patient engagement and advocacy, Executive Director of the Max Cure Foundation, a National Cancer Institute steering committee member, editor of Cancer Knowledge Network, blogger for The Huffington Post, and founding member of Children's Cancer Therapy Development Institute. Jonathan’s background and relationships within the pediatric and adult cancer communities have been successfully leveraged to create collaborative research efforts across institutions and patient-centric foundations.
